Tim Kircher leads the sales efforts for Rum River Lumber Co. Tim joined the company in 1985 as an outside salesman and helped build sales from $1 million to over $27 million in 2004. His contributions were rewarded in 2005 by being promoted to Sales Manager and then Vice President Sales.
Tim’s career includes more than 29 years in the lumber business. He worked for Scherer Bros. from 1979 to 1983 in the yard and customer service. Tim also worked for Smith Lumber from 1983 to 1985 as City Desk and Store Manager.
 Paul Berglin

Paul Berglin is a sales representative and part owner of the family-run Rum River Lumber Co. His in-depth knowledge of the industry matches his never-ending drive to contribute to the success of customers.
Paul joined the company in 1991 and began his career working in the yard, making deliveries and load building. After graduating from the MN School of Business in 1997, he moved to counter sales. His added responsibilities included ordering products, developing estimate blue prints and interacting with customers. Paul made the move to contractor sales in 1999.
His valuable experience is also needed from time to time in other areas of the company. Paul sometimes takes on additional roles such as dispatcher, yard manager, buyer and other duties to deliver solutions to all of Rum River Lumber’s customers.
 Jayson Bartolain

Jayson Bartolain is a sales representative with Rum River Lumber Co. As an experienced problem solver, Jayson works closely with his customers throughout the process from material estimating to delivering a finished product. He also enjoys socializing with contractors at social events such as pheasant hunts, sporting events and golf tournaments.
Jayson has eight years of experience in the building materials industry. While attending the U of MN, he started his career as an intern at a cedar wholesaler. Jayson then moved to the retail sales and enjoyed the new opportunity to work with professional contractors.
 Brian Ericson

Brian Ericson joined Rum River Lumber Co. as an outside sales representative in 2003. Brian applies his extensive experience and education from the past decade to customer issues to deliver outstanding results. Prior to Rum River Lumber Co., Brian was with Stock Building Supply. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in Architectural Construction Technology.
 Gregg Biske

Gregg Biske is a sales representative with Rum River Lumber Co. He joined Rum River Lumber Co. in 2000 as an assistant salesperson and working the front counter before being promoted to an outside salesperson in 2004.
Gregg grew up on a farm in Monticello, MN and started as a carpenter with Paul Becker Construction in 1987. He started his own roofing company in 1995 and continued that work until he joined Rum River Lumber Co. Gregg brings a wealth of industry knowledge and practical field experience to his customers. His work in framing, roofing, siding, trimming and insulation helps him deliver both efficient and effective solutions to his customers.
 Bill Bolte
Sales Representative
Bill Bolte brings unmatched years of experience to the Rum River Lumber Co. team. Bill joined the company in 1990 as a sales representative and specializes in contractor sales.
Bill started in the lumber business in 1967, driving a truck and scaling lumber for Sawyer-Cleator Lumber in Downtown Minneapolis. He moved to the City Desk the next year and started in outside sales in 1972. Bill’s experience includes upscale custom new construction and remodeling, as well as commercial building.
 Ken Ryberg

Ken Ryberg joined Rum River Lumber Co. in 2005 after enjoying an early retirement from Canadian Pacific Railway. While with the railroad, he helped design and plan many large commercial construction projects across North America. Ken later worked in self-employed construction for several years before deciding that an Estimating and City Desk/Inside Sales job with Rum River Lumber would be a great fit.
 Terrance Gerdes

Terrance Gerdes is a sales representative with Rum River Lumber Co. Terrance joined the company in 1992 and started at City Desk. In addition to sales, he is also responsible for hardware purchasing. Prior to Rum River Lumber Co., Terrance has worked in the industry since 1974. He has worked at several other lumberyards and done home construction and remodeling.
 Tim Howe

Tim Howe is a sales representative with Rum River Lumber Co. Tim joined the company in 2004. He has been in the building materials industry for 30 years in sales and estimating.
